Whole-ness - union of body and mind - is the ultimate goal of Yoga, yet asana (postures) are rarely practiced with this intention today. The muscles, bones and connective tissues are only a small (and the least important) fraction of our experience of postures and Yoga. When we approach a physical practice with only these in mind, the full benefits are lost to us.
This class will integrate body and mind, the physical and the subtle, by integrating the wisdom of Ayurveda to create a deeper, more effective Yoga asana practice for students of all levels of experience.
